- Considered the father of computing and artificial intelligence. He developed the concept of the "Turing machine" and proposed the "Turing Test" as a criterion for determining whether a machine can exhibit intelligent behavior equivalent to that of a human.

2. John McCarthy

- Often called the "father of artificial intelligence." He was one of the organizers of the Dartmouth Conference in 1956, where the term "artificial intelligence" was coined. He also developed the LISP programming language, which became the standard for AI research for many years.

3. Marvin Minsky
